A dynamic and rapidly growing organisation is looking to hire a permanent Warehouse Supervisor/Manager to join their team in Eye, Suffolk. This position offers a salary of up to £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and requires full on-site presence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving shipments, managing and storing inventory, and dispatching goods to customers and end-users.

Role responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor include:

  • Inventory Management and Storage: Support and facilitate the efficient storage of finished goods, manage inventory levels, and ensure accurate stock tracking.
  • Shipment and Delivery Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate the timely delivery of products to customers and end-users, including managing export shipments, local transportation, and ensuring quality and cost control.
  • Warehouse Operations and Safety: Utilise warehouse space, materials, and equipment effectively, maintain a clean and orderly environment, secure facilities, and uphold safety standards to minimize risks and promote a safe work environment.
  • Third-Party Warehouse Oversight: Manage stock across third-party warehouses, ensuring standards and overseeing stock intake, storage, and final quality inspections on outgoing stock.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Support: Work closely with the Logistics Coordinator to arrange container intake, monitor product quality, quantity, costs, and delivery schedules, supporting the overall supply chain expediting.

Person Specification of the Warehouse Supervisor:

  • Prior experience in a warehouse environment
  • Proven experience collaborating with third-party suppliers
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of seniority and stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
