Butler Ross are currently recruiting for an experienced Buyer to join a large manufacturing organisation at one of their offices near Stoke. This is a great opportunity for a capable negotiator with prior experience handling operational purchasing in a fast-paced environment (not necessarily manufacturing).

This Buyer opportunity is offering a salary up to £45,000 (depending on relevant experience) and will be based on-site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities Include (non-exhaustive)

• Supplier performance reviews.
• Cost roll-up creation and reporting.
• Early supplier engagement activities.
• Order placement and supplier negotiation
• Summarising part availability.
• Risk reporting & mitigation.
• Project closure & review.

Key Experience/Skills

• Previous experience in a dedicated buyer / purchasing role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Proactive Nature
• CIPS certification (not essential)
